Vancouver Talmud Torah
Vancouver Talmud Torah, one of the Lower Mainland’s leading independent elementary schools, faced a serious challenge: how to mobilize an already donor-fatigued parent community in a decidedly unsexy cause: paying off the $7 Million construction debt owing on the recently completed construction of a $25 Million new Campus. Millman Media responded to the challenge with “100%♡ Campaign”, a 7 episode video marketing strategy which aimed to get as many current student families at the school to contribute fresh funds towards paying down the school’s debt. The campaign resulted in a parent participation rate of 85%, a substantial reduction in school debt and renewed, as well as fresh, commitments from Major Donors [click the right arrow to scroll through all episodes].
Teaching For Tomorrow – King David High School
King David High School’s flagship annual fundraising event, Teaching for Tomorrow, features a talk by a best-selling author on a subject related to parenting and a short film promoting the school and making the case for giving. The quickly growing Vancouver independent school approached Millman Media for something different, more creative, more celebratory than the standard fundraising videos that had been produced for the school in past years. The result was a musical tribute to the school’s royal namesake in four parts, each an exploration of one of the King’s key attributes and an interview with an alumnus that exemplifies that quality.
